Join DNA and the Duke Academic Resource Center (ARC) for a hands-on demo and giveaway of adaptive tools and neurodivergent-friendly gadgets - designed to make learning, writing, and organizing feel more natural and less exhausting.
What we’ll be giving out:
Accessible tech: ergonomic and split keyboards, vertical mice, noise-dampening headsets, and one-handed input devices
Speech & text tools: voice-to-text recorders, smart pens (like Livescribe), text-to-speech readers, and note-syncing apps
Focus and sensory aids: weighted pens, fidget cubes, chewable jewelry, textured grips, and small desk objects for stimming or grounding
Organization and pacing tools: visual timers, analog planners for executive function support, and low-stim lighting demos
Bonus station: free trials and tutorials for digital accessibility software (Grammarly, NaturalReader, Notion, and more)
